We are too cool for school! Our coaches said we are champions in the making! We had such fun learning the rules of Softball. Learning to do the overarm throw was tricky and learning to touch all the bases when we were making a home run was hard. If we didn't collaborate we would not have been such good teams.

We are so lucky in Room 8 because our big friends from Room 18 come to help us to learn our High Frequency Words on Fridays. We love having that special time. The big people read to us and also help us to learn to recognise our numbers to 100. We feel special that they want to spend time collaborating with us.

We collaborated to make a party for all the little animals in our class. We had to work together to decide what sort of food we might need, how to make the table look attractive and how to share everyone's ideas. At first we put anything we could find on the table but it didn't look good so we started again and talked more and listened more. Voila! We made a great party table.

To use our best ideas we had to work with each other, offer ideas and be patient while we got the job done!

We share our ideas to make things better. We listen to each other's ideas.

We learned that critters work together in our world. We worked together to make our own. We collaborated with a buddy.
